Deep Eddy offers both in house and in plant upholstery cleaning to fit your needs. If you do bring in your upholstery please do NOT remove the fabric from the cushion. Without the cushion there is a greater risk of shrinkage. Every piece of furniture, cushion, and fabric is inspected for any areas of concern and to determine the best cleaning method.
The most common method of cleaning upholstery is hot water extraction. Our technician will thoroughly vacuum all areas of the upholstery to remove as much animal hair and dry particulate material as possible. The next step is to gently agitate the fabric with a cleaning solution to loosen the soiling. Next, the technician uses a specially designed upholstery hot water extraction tool to gently lift away the soiling. Depending on your specific type of fabric this type of cleaning may not be the best for your piece. If that is the case Deep Eddy can use a dry-cleaning method to care for your fine furnishings.
